learn islam, not inherit it

Thats a part of today's friday prayer's sermon. I totally agree with him. Today's people only take islam for granted. Some of em even only islam in title, but in reality, they dont even practice that religion. oh people.know that Islam is a complete religion. Its straight, its perfect, and its pure.

i ve read somewhere about a professor who said something like this to a mua'laf(not really a mua'laf, he's muslim for like 10++ years) who tried to involve in a discussion aabout islam

YOU ARE NEW TO ISLAM. WHAT DO YOU KNOW. WE ARE ISLAM SINCE WE WERE BORN. SO STAY OUT OF THIS

What the hell? Quality of one's iman doesnt count bcoz one was born as a muslim, but how many deeds one has done and if one is really taking care of his/her compulsory ibadah. We usually see people who are new in islam give preaches, but in fact they are new in islam. Why does this happen? Because they learn islam by heart. They learn to know, and learn to understand. That's why sometimes, they tend to have more knowledge than us who 'inherit' islam from our parents. we only follow and copy what our parents do, but we dont really try to learn more about what and why we are doing that. We take islam for granted.

This is a little summary about today's friday sermon(some of the points, i added up myself). It was by Tarek Al Saleh, A master graduated guy from Palestin. He ll be returning to Palestin tomrw(i think).
He's the president of Islamic Society in UNMC. Its sad to lose a good brother like him :-S

He read a wonderful poem that he wrote himself on that sermon. twas in arabic.not really understand it, but hey, he almost cried.haha. i assume the poem is nice :)

Deeparaya celebration today!

and yeah. we performed on stage.lagu raya :D
twas quite fun for me(even a bit lame) haha coz i get to know lots of seniors.(SUARA KAK FATIN WAS SUPERBB KOT)mcm siti nurhaliza pun ada.hahaha.before performing, we watched other performers. dangggg.. they were soo good. there ws this WAKA WAKA dance by black people. -__-
and some weird sketches by pakistanis and indians. and band performance by muz and the gang.haha

after that we had dinner with all the seniors at restaurant ape nth.mamak mufler.HAHA.
n naik kereta senior, bwk laju macam harambh. laki xpe. ni yg perempuan pun mcm racing.-__-

i rode the ladies car when on the way back to campus from restaurant.i didnt know how i got in that car.HAHA.but im the only guy.and that lady drove like hell. -___-
racing and braking with the other car ( kereta baha,aiman,fitri,takayama,una).
dang.bawak kereta mcm dare devils

agak seronok berkenalan ngn diorg ni. n diorg ni plak happen to be bilik ats bilik yang kteorg slalu lepak. funny. they always hear our(especially me) voice karaoke-ing. -__-

after dinner, we play bunga api dkt sbelah blok.illegally.bcause no fires are allowed.haha.therefore main bunga api illegally! :D

yeah then they invite us to go broga-ing (hiking at broga hills) when we r free. :D
there s this girl, azian.or diorg pggil a chan.hahah.org sabah. she s quite funny bcoz her face looks so chinese and she do acts a bit like chinese. and she looks blurr sometimes. :D

not to mention akak yg garang sorg ni. -__-
dah la anti org kelantan.HAHA.

pstu theres SUP.or his full name is safuan. when we first introduced ea other, he came to us and shook our hands and said, SUP. we were like..YO.SUP.HAHAHA. -__-
then only we knew tht his name is SAP -__-
he s quite..cheeky and naughty.

Then this kak fatin.suara merdu gila.hahaha.baju warna matching plak ngn aku tadi.HAHA. and 11 november will be her birthday.happy birthday KAK fatin.HAHA. KAK. i feel so young now. :D

Then iqbal. this guy always have his earphone or wtv around his neck.even when performing.HAHA.dia style. :D

Next, BAHA.HAHAHA.bapak aku. baha ni cute kot.btw baha ni lelaki.tapi die comel.hahaha.skali dengar die ckp2, mesti aku nk tergelak.dgn expresi muka, n gaya ckp dia tu.bravo papa baha.hahaha.

WTF? yeah i have class at 10. its a lab! dont know what we re suppose to do, but it says on the timetable, OBSERVING CELL DIVISION. sounds cool eh. Ms Jane will conduct tht experiment.or observation. After quite sometimes, i realise, that ms jane is pretty cool.and awsome.well at least better than other lecturers.haha. lecturer laen, suck.seriously i have high expectations from foreign lects. but.well.damn.hahaha.

(OKAY BORING.TALK ABOUT SOMEIN ELSE PLOX -__- )

Tonight, i will b perfoming deeparaya! its a..well..perfomance from students associating with deepavali and hari raya supposedly.but i dont think lots of ppl will come to see.bcoz we have to pay for the ticket.haha yeah i know.wtf right?
oh yeah, im not perfoming alone.we ll b singing hari raya punya lagu with around 15 ppl..i think.
and half of em are seniors. theres this 3rd year senior,a lady. damn, her voice is g-g-goood.. pretty similar to siti nurhaliza. anyway, our(malays) show, IMO, is quite boring.coz the preparation only be done 1 day (that is yesterday) before perfoming. What would you expect from performers tht practice only 1 day b4 perfoming -______-
i blame the seniors.coz we budak2 foundation only follow orders as we dont really know that we ll b perfoming on tuesday. AND the seniors only summoned us to practice yesterday.whadafork. you guys invite us masuk perfoming, tp you guys plak cm x bersungguh.

but its okay. coz those seniors are kind.hahaha.
well.we ll see tonight. and theres this 1 pakistani guy, who really excited to dance with us. -__-
and always go to us and said sehlahmut harry rayaaa salam salaamuun! hahaha.
weirdo.but yeah hes kind too.and his face quite reminds me to earl's brother. in my name is earl series. YEAH. even his attitude.

Hello Broga, Hello Nottingham

Whaw. After all relaxing and sleeping, tomorrow i m back as a student again.
Problem is, i m still in my holiday mode :(
Its so hard to change back to my study mode. My human clock is broken. All of that 'tido pukul 4 bangun pukul 2' are making me as lazy as donkey(nice rhyme).Sakit badan pun ada.I call it, PMS.lol not that 'PMS', but PeMalas Syndrome. xD

I hate this feelings, scared of going to a new places.I call it, cuakglabaohfobia.
Where s my bank book, where s my SPM slip, Where s copies of my IC,my father's ic!
Oh, nice, now i noticed i need 2 passport sized photograph.Good thing i still got EXACTLY 2 pics, leftovers from matriks Selangor months ago.All this worrying makes me even worrier.. -__-

Now.should I bring baldi or not.Now this is another crisis for myself(actually for any budak2 yang nak masuk boarding school or uni).I always afraid that I will be a black sheep among people who ll be registering tomorrow, like being the only one who wears slipper and T-Shirt.I dont want to be the only one who wring baldi! That damn thing is so damn big.Ah whatever, i always am the black sheep anywhere, therefore, baldi? YES.T-Shirt? hell yeah. This aint Matrikulasi -___-
I asked my brother, and he said " hahaha apelah.ko igt nk daftar matriks ke.ni universiti laa gilo." (he said in Kelantanese)

I just finished packed, but still have that " MACAM TERLUPA SOMETHING " feeling. I heard that induction programme will only be 1 day.So are we suppose to have class in monday?what teh. I havent have any books yet -___-
My UNMC mate suggested me bringing buku rujukan addmath form 5.yeah right.like i want to 'burden' myself and make my luggage heavier.I rather bring kilos of rocks than a 1.2kg(estimated weight) of addmath book.

Funny, I think i ve went many times thru this feelings of homesick.When registering in MRSM years ago, Matriks Selangor, and now, UNMC.Ah,but usually it only last for a day.no worries.

Tomorrow, i ll be an independent person!(once again -___-)
pray for me that i ll be able to control meself from temptation,laziness,sleepiness,malas nak banguness,bangun lambatness and mcm2 bnda lain that can keeps me from focusing on my study.

Yeah im looking forward to meet all those foreigners!Despite my brother told me that some foreigners will be really 'sombong'.Well then i just have to switch meself to 'Super Friendly' mode, in hope of getting lots of friends( not annoys people.sigh. )
But one thing i don't quite like is that Notts arrange roommates according to something like Semenanjung Malaysia(east),Semenanjung Malaysia(west) and International students.Whats up with that -__-

Right.The only thing that i need to complete my checklist is a freakin LAPTOP!
well looks like i just have to wait for a few weeks lagi.hopefully.

Bila sebut unik , sme nampak bnda (+). unique mungkin pasal fizikal manusia, attitude manusia,gaya atau barang2.

Disebabkan ke-radikal-an aku, ak slalu tgk bnda yg orang lain tak tgk..haha.
aku tulis entry ni actually sbb td aku tgh tgk demotivational posters. I came across this :



YEAH! and, a unique item, doesnt mean its pretty. Exotic, perhaps. tapi x semestinye lawa waw waw waw extravagant muahh2 comel! sebabkan , kadang2 budak2 remaja skrg, nak bnda unik2 je.style pun unik2.. -____-
Unik biar bertempat..nak unik bagi sedap mata memandang xpe gak. But if unik bagi sakit mata, screw you.

maka," aw aw this style is soo unique you know!yaw! Im proud to be unique in my society!" x boleh digunapakai bagi aku.
screw your uniqueness if you re just adding your freak into your collection of styles..

Therefore, it is not wrong to be unique, but don t be a freak!
And being unique doesnt mean that you re useful!
